i normally do not hang out on the roof of the house but the christmas lights for some reason were not taking themselves down. Yes it is almost march but who has the time? Well, its done now and while I was up there I was able to get a few cool photos with the phone.

last stop - nyc...

with only 105 minutes remaining in our trip the skies clouded over and it started to snow - it was absolutely perfect. we strolled up and down the quaint and quiet streets of the west village, found a great coffee shop and i stepped in a pile of shit. now this was not just any pile of shit but a massive pile of shit, it covered the bottom of my boot from the toe to the heel. and here is the best part, i did not notice it until we were about five minutes into our long trip to the airport. so yes, my last step in the city was in a pile of shit, i just hope it was a dog...

with just hours before our plane takes off back to orlando we hit gold! the little owl in the west village is a must stop - must eat - must drink little spot...

nyc - feb 2011 - the jane hotel...

hands down the best hotel in the city, The Jane Hotel is in the west village on jane street on the hudson river. i can go on but i'll let the photos do the work...

day after christmas breakfast...

for the first time in I really don't know I actually took the day off after christmas. the wife did most of the work but I am the griddle master. our feast: lemon ricotta pancakes with maple brown sugar bacon and eggs, oh and can not forget the fresh squeezed orange juice (thanks dad) mimosas...



as you can tell I'm doing my best to catch up on the past few months...
